Before you go, did you know that simply by sharing this campaign, you could help it raise $30? It's an effective way to support the cause.
No thanksRESOLVE hasn't added a story.
During national elections, nearly 1 million people in the U.S. serve as election officials and poll workers. This election, during an unprecedented pandemic, their service is more commendable than ever. They need your support.
RESOLVE, VoteSafe, and Mission for Masks have joined forces to launch Gear Up to VoteSafe, a non-partisan initiative to get personal protective equipment (PPE) into the hands of election officials, poll workers, vote counters, and volunteers to make in-person voting as safe as possible.
We are working to deliver PPE to volunteers at Election Super Centers and other polling places across the country.
The need is urgent. The sooner we receive your donation, the more quickly we can get PPE into the hands of poll workers and volunteers. Thanks to those who have already donated - with your support, we're beginning to distribute PPE.
Gear Up to VoteSafe has developed a low-cost, comprehensive PPE kit designed to protect poll workers and support safe voting: a Makers Respond face shield, N95 or equivalent face mask, hand sanitizer, and a voter safety guide (content may be adjusted based on availability of supplies and need).
You can donate a PPE Kit to a poll worker or volunteer for $8/person. $1000 covers a shift. Our fundraising goal is $30,000 per state in need.
If we meet the need in one region, we'll apply the funds to other nearby voting locations.
There are new risks this year, but it is as important as ever to vote.
Please donate to make voting safe by either giving to the national campaign or directly to one of the states listed below.
