Transition Framingham hasn't added a story.

Join us on Saturday, September 10th from 1pm - 5pm for a FREE tour of home and community vegetable gardens to get inspiration, ideas, and advice from local gardeners.  Meet at Open Spirit - 39 Edwards St, Framingham. (Donations are not required to attend the tour.)

All donations will benefit Framingham Community Farm and Open Spirit Nourishing Gardens Children's Garden Project.

Not everyone has access to locally grown produce or the opportunity to grow their own food.  Children want to know where their food comes from and experience a variety of fresh foods.

Framingham Community Farm's dedicated volunteers grow about 500 lbs of fresh vegetables each year, all donated to A Place to Turn food pantry, serving Framingham and Metrowest families.

Open Spirit's Nourishing Gardens program, in cooperation with Pelham Rec Center and Hoops & Homework, sponsors community and children's gardens in South Framingham. The program teaches children to grow vegetables and gives them the opportunity to try new foods.
