COMMUNITY SHARED FOREST GARDEN EXPERIENCE
By Joining our Community Shared Forest Garden Experience, you
benefit by participating in using permaculture principles, while
experiencing how to grow high vibration food. This helps restore us
to living healthier lives on this planet the more natural way. You
can donate time or money to join our 2018 growing year. Your
consumer dollars will be used to subsidize labour costs on Local
Small-Scale Farms in Kawartha Lakes. Come enjoy the benefits of
Nature Bathing and Gardening then go home with some farm fresh food
from the gardens you participated in growing.
Given the right sort of climatic and topographical conditions,
nature will instinctively move towards a
Forest environment. Different types of plants
provide advantages that promote growth of other species in their
vicinity. This has a ripple effect that includes binary
relationships between plants, insects, soil and animals. In nature,
plants want to grow and flourish, and they seek to populate
environments in which the chances of doing so are maximized.
A Forest is one of the most fruitful places for
this to happen. As a guiding principle of permaculture is to learn
the lessons of nature and seek to use that knowledge, copying the
structure of a forest in a garden makes perfect
sense.
Our 2018 Community Shared Forest Garden Program
encompasses all these principles and puts forward that knowledge
publicly in open source. We will maximize the yield and experience
to be shared this year!!
Come Join Us for a Year of Living in Time with Nature!!!
My Story

Lakes. I am a Permaculture Design Specialist preparing for my third
year of putting my Permaculture Knowledge to use in Kawartha Lakes.
I studied Permaculture Design at the Living Centre in London Ontario
and at the Bartley Community Project in Toronto and Muskoka Lakes.
Over the past five years I have learned and

sustaining, regenerating, repairing and caring for Our Mother Earth.
I am confident that by Joining me in this

learning and restoring her with me.
Forest gardens work by
creating a layered composition of plant life in a natural forest.
Tall trees – such as Fruit & Nut trees are the topmost layer,
providing the canopy, then Plants of different heights and
characteristics are planted beneath, from Dwarf Trees and Shrubs to
Companion Plants, Vegetable Crops, Herbs and Ground Cover. A Forest
Garden can also contain climbing plants that grow up the trunks of
the trees.
Come join me and follow the 12 Principles of
Permaculture and let the Plants help show us Development of
Community and Diversity!!
