Local fundraising campaigns

We are raising money for the reconstruction! Two of our Houston colleagues lost everything in the flood. We now want to underscore our commitment to the HIMA "Family Spirit" and help with reconstruction of their homes.

Revolutionary Association of Houston is coordinating a response to the crisis caused by Hurricane Harvey. This bankrupt capitalist system has always failed us--we aim to address the dire needs of the moment and build power for the future.

Cicada Collective is a queer & trans people of color centered organization that is bringing an Abortion Doula Training to the Houston area. Please help us cover costs of the training; skills that promote compassionate access to abortion need to be shared!

This year, sweet little Bentley cat was hospitalizied with severe jaundice! She was lethargic, not eating and had lost a lot of weight. Her stay in the hospital was very costly and while she's home now, I'm still feeding her through a tube.

I'm helping my neighbor, Kicha, raise money to help a stray she's been fostering. She found Bella at a CVS on her way to work, and debated whether or not to help. Kicha has 2 big dogs of her own, a smaller terrier and a few cats. She's got a heart of gold

My family dog, Ginger, is in need of surgery for a broken front leg. She was attacked by another dog and suffered a severe fracture & is in need of emergency surgery. I'm helping my mom raise money for Ginger's surgery which can cost anywhere from 3-6k.
