The Edmonton Hope Ensemble was founded by Joshua Elanjickal, Nicolas Allegretto, and Sherin George, based on a passion for music and giving to the community. The organization aims to work with local charities, using the founders’ passions as a means to make a difference.
The July 2025 fundraiser will be held in partnership with the University Hospital Foundation (UHF), raising money to help fight brain and heart disease. Our fundraiser is a grassroots effort, powered by recent high school graduates and local volunteers who want to make a meaningful impact. The campaign includes two bottle drives, one in Aspen/Westbrook on July 12, and a second in Greenfield (tentatively July 19), aimed at both raising donations and building awareness for the cause.
The highlight of our efforts will be a free outdoor jazz performance on Friday, July 25th, at Aspen Gardens Park, near Westbrook Elementary. This one-hour concert will feature talented young musicians from the community and will serve as a joyful gathering to thank supporters, commemorate donors, and offer another opportunity to contribute to this important cause. All proceeds will go directly to the University Hospital Foundation, supporting vital work in patient care and medical advancement. We are grateful for this opportunity to collaborate and look forward to working together to make a difference.
