Hi Community! My name is Ankitha Jagadeesh, rising Sophmore at Rutgers University Honors College majoring in Biological Sciences on the Pre-Medical Track. My Nonprofit Organization “Beauty Beyond” is committed to not just funding reconstructive surgeries in my families hometown India, Bangalore—but to one day give individuals around the world the chance to smile again, to live without pain, and to face the world with confidence. Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering the medical expenses of underprivileged trauma patients in need of reconstructive surgery at Aster Whitefield Bangalore. Their world-class plastic surgery team is dedicated to providing life-changing reconstructive care to patients including young children born with cleft lips and palates, labor workers disfigured in workplace accidents, and survivors of severe burns or domestic violence. For many patients, the cost is a barrier they can’t overcome.
