COVID-19 RESPONSE AND RELIEF TOUR- Community Empowerment Programming Redefined
The Cream is an actively registered 501(c)3 nonprofit entity in good standing (providing charitable opportunity whose primary focus is urban edification through socioeconomic empowerment. As a nonprofit organization that is Guidestar Platinum (with more donation programming in the works!),
The Cream has since helped donate hundreds of thousands worth in charitable goods and household/back-to-school essentials across Washtenaw and Wayne County EACH YEAR, where we regularly impact areas that are also heavily populated by veterans and seniors. Wraparound (A-Z) business services and consultancy are also offered to residents.
excerpt of our Covid-19 relief tour earlier this year:
"By supporting this Covid-19 Response Initiative, YOUR contributions helped provide transportation funds for our uhauls, Gloves, sanitation, and masks for our staff AND target donation areas. This allowed The Cream Incorporated and Motor City Coalition partners such as Met Plus, Swift Removal LLC, Patt Nation Kicks LLC, The Seed Project Inc, C&C Security Solutions, and other essential Southeast Michigan Nonprofits continue to empower their communities in this time of dire need."
Countless Washtenaw and Wayne County families have been DISPROPORTIONATELY affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, including but not limited to the ability to source home goods, particularly in the case of non-ambulatory senior citizens. By backing this campaign, volunteers and contributors alike helped ensure our sustainable, boots-on-the-ground movement continues to ring true, and that our message of positivity continues to be heard.
We have since coordinated donation programs on track to distribute an additional 500,000 masks(!) with plans to donate even more across the Southeast areas of Michigan. This was possible in part to emergency grant funding in regards to COVID-19, another reason why we are reaching out about any possible sponsorship or resources.
Being able to better leverage grassroots funding for the community, particularly when our organization can no longer distribute sponsored goods such as Detroit Pistons tickets, has become harder to source/offer routine donations (with social distancing drive-up/curbside precautions) and business startup classes and clients have been restrained in the form of remote conferencing. Operating funding is imperative to our capacity for providing Community Empowerment Programs and PPE distribution in the MILLIONS heading into 2021.
Mission
The Cream Incorporated represents an amorphous nonprofit organization that seeks to provide Community Building through Urban Empowerment and Financial Sustainability. This fundraiser would allow The Cream to expand on the services being started up or currently provided in Wayne and Washtenaw Counties Michigan. Financial tenability for the National Board of The Cream would allow for the growth in future Michigan/Great Lakes Cream Chapters with the intent of youth leadership expansion throughout the Midwest and United States. Supporting The Cream financially today would help cover Administrative costs and expansion of services and programs on a national level.
The Cream Incorporated is a 501c3 not for profit organization geared towards the economic and moral edification of Individuals that reside in areas that have been identified as Urban. It is the direct mission of this organization to promote superior scholarship as basic and intellectual achievement and Cooperate and interact with other organizations and institutions in concern for maintenance of high moral and social standards.
Problem
With the Urban Community being the backbone and conveyance of the economy today, sadly, but truthfully; the Urban Community suffers from educational, financial, and social hardships that many have yet to find a cure. It is the firm conviction of this organization that the solution/alternatives to unproductive/illegal activities that is found in escapism to the problems faced; can be found within our Services & Programs.
Solution
Our organization provides to the community Free Corporate development services, Publication & Editing Services, Marketing & web design, and a variety of classes and workshops that are geared towards self-sufficiency. In addition, we also provide PTSD/Trauma Sessions to Individuals that reside within Urban Areas that may have experienced violence and/or drama stemming from Gun Violence, Separation of Households, and Unfortunate situations. It is the idea of our conceptual structure to empower individuals within these communities with the tools and skills that they need to excel at home, school, and in the workplace. By doing so, this will empower small sections of each community that will infectiously spread to the whole.

For what it's worth, I'd like to tell you a bit about a local nonprofit called The Cream Incorporated. Our fundraising website has an option that allows people to donate to our organization - receive a tax deduction AND a gift card matching their donation to
restaurant.com, where many local eateries are listed!
•
This allows donors to help support local restaurants and our essential Community Empowerment Programming. What does Community Empowerment look like, you ask?
•️
T he Motor City Coalition just wrapped up ANOTHER successful Covid-19 Relief Community Empowerment Donations Program where we donated over 500,000 reusable cotton masks and other home essentials to Washtenaw and Wayne County residents, IN ADDITION to hundreds of thousands other home goods and essentials through our partners in the Motor City Coalition.
•⏲️
The Cream and MCC are a charitable organization and Coalition that has donated HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars worth of home goods and non-perishable (as well as food) items to residents across Ypsilanti, Inkster, Detroit, and beyond EACH YEAR. • Websites are TheCream.Org and MotorCityCoalition.us, I ask that you please take a look at these websites. The Cream and MCC are preparing to distribute even MORE home essentials to veterans seniors, and others disproportionately impacted by Covid-19 in the Southeast Michigan area : it is for that reason and many other that they are going to be donating as many as as MILLIONS of reusable (cotton) PPE going into 2021.

BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP. Websites and programs like those
offered by KChapter.Org need YOUR HELP to sustain and
develop if we are to Empower more communities in need. If
you are willing to donate but don't wish to eat out at local
restaurants, all donations are still 100%tax deductible even
at TheCream.Org. Peace and happy holidays!
The Cream Incorporated is a Southeast Michigan 501c3 nonprofit that has helped donate hundreds of thousands worth in charitable goods and household/back-to-school essentials across Washtenaw and Wayne County. Our Staffing Agency, The Learnt Ones, LLC, currently completes contract work in public housing (Inkster and Clinton township) where we regularly impact areas that are also heavily populated by veterans and seniors. Based on the amount of revenue that goes directly back into The Cream, The Learnt Ones, LLC was recently awarded charitable status within the IRS. Our commitment to quality of life improvements in our communities served, and beyond are contingent upon secure funding moving into year two of the pandemic. From a sustainability and accessibility standpoint, Covid-19 has negatively impacted the outcomes of the aforementioned communities SIGNIFICANTLY in comparison to other Americans.
The majority of local networking and community offerings happen through word of mouth OR social media. The Cream Incorporated prides itself in the efforts it puts towards the numerous nonprofits that have been incorporated, or businesses building credit and helping provide local services back into their community. Being able to convey these goods and services to many non-ambulatory or less able veterans and senior citizens are just one demographic example of the residents that we donate and regularly perform community assessments.
