Join us for our 7th annual R5K race as we fulfill our promise of continually making a difference for people living with paralysis caused by spinal cord injury.

Meet with others or race individually anywhere you'd like across Canada! Race for yourself, a friend, or a loved one to support research advocacy, and improve the lives of Canadians living with spinal cord injury.  It's all happening on September 19th, 2026!  

This year, we are honoring the memory of the many Canadians we have lost to complications due to spinal cord injury.  The 100K in 100 Days campaign shines a light on the dangers of these complications - with a commitment to race 100km in honor of the members of our community who are no longer with us.

Beyond the initial loss of motor and sensory function, many individuals battle secondary complications including chronic pain, muscle spasticity, pressure injuries (bedsores), urinary tract infections, bowel and bladder dysfunction, mental health battles, increased risk of osteoporosis, respiratory complications, and reduced cardiovascular fitness due to decreased mobility.

These secondary complications can significantly affect independence, quality of life, and long-term health, often requiring ongoing medical management and rehabilitation, and all too often can be fatal.   We remain committed to advancing the research and policy efforts that will lead to better treatments, improved quality of life, and ultimately, a cure.
