JAVA - BLIND LAB 4 years old MALE- 51 lbs on intake found himself in a KILL shelter through no fault of his own and no one came to reclaim him and this morning he was placed on the euthanize list for today- Thursday August 28. The shelter was totally out of space and with only a few hours notice her was deemed to be one of the ones that had to be euthanized for space. We found commitment for him if we could raise funds to help. Details: he is heartworm negative and been at the shelter since 8-15. he is dog and people friendly and very sweet. He weighs 51 lbs. He will still need to be neutered and he is blind in both eyes.
HE needs funds to help with vetting, boarding and possible transport to an out of state rescue. Donations are tax deductible and ANY funds received for a dog who is adopted, reclaimed or euthanized goes toward helping other Clayton urgent dogs. We do our best to find rescue. This precious boy deserves a chance at a home.
