33 Weeks running

We don't know when her back legs stopped working, but this morning, this sweet girl had a family who she loved, and likely thought they loved her.  By the afternoon she had been brought to the shelter and asked to be put down.

The shelter has a pretty short list of rescues that will take dogs who are long and low, and who are paralyzed in the back.

It is a list of one. Us.

She had one chance. DRSF or euthanasia.

You have already made 3 IVDD miracles in two weeks.   We are not "Dachshund Only One IVDD Surgery Per Month".  We are Dachshund Rescue. We will run the ship aground doing the right thing rather than turn away from a Dachshund in need.

We will keep going as long as you make it possible. Bexley is on her way to Southeast Veterinary Neurology with Dr. Adams staying late to see her.  Do we have one more miracle in us to help her?

As always, all it takes is $1 to join the hardest working, hardest loving, most giving team in rescue.  This will be our 8th IVDD surgery of the 2020.  You make it possible.  You keep us going.  Can Bexley count on you for $1?
