This page was created to raise awareness and shed light on the innocent babies who, to no fault of their own, are the victims of homelessness and are often times neglected, abused, forced to survive in deplorable living environments often times surrounded by the mentally unstable and drug addicts.

I have always been aware of the "homeless youth crisis", which typically raises awareness for ages 12-18yrs old. These preteens to young adults have many wonderful resources geared towards them specifically. My goal is to raise awareness and help the babies and the toddlers.

I have been an active participant in volunteering at Women & Children Shelters for years. But a recent news story of a 2 year old little girl found eating old doughnuts out of a trash can, with a presumed 2+ day soiled diaper, fungus infected toenails at a homeless encampment, completely shifted my focus! A child at this age, is not capable of protecting themselves, not capable of walking out of this vile area to a safe place. Who is protecting this child??!! Yes, there are many homeless children, many at the very least are housed in shelters with Moms who are trying to make a better life for herself and her children. But what about these infants and toddlers left outside, with drug-addicted parents left to fend for themselves?

This got me thinking... as a Mom of boys who participate in sports, it's common to sign up to provide snacks for the team after their game... sometimes 10-20 baggies of kid-friendly snacks and juice boxes. What if we offer this same courtesy to homeless babies? I know a baggy of food is not going to solve the problem, but it may save a little 2 year old from having to scavenge through trash for something to eat.

I wholeheartedly believe we are not placed on this earth to simply exist or survive but rather make a difference, to be useful, to be compassionate!

The goal of this page is to fund age-appropriate care packages which will be directly distributed to the areas where these babies reside. I am beginning this crusade by supplying Search and Rescue volunteers with age-appropriate snack baggies/care packages, who will hand them out to babies/children found in these encampments.

I would love to see it grow from snack baggies to diapers, formula, clothing etc.

There are hungry, homeless and neglected BABIES out there, in our backyard!

We have to protect our children! We have to do something!
