THE STORY:
As many of Crusoe the Dachshund's fans know well, Crusoe had his gallbladder removed in June 2020. Since that time, his liver enzymes have been very elevated. Then, mid-December they jumped to even higher levels. The internal medicine specialists at Cornell University have been incredible in consulting us. Finally in January 2021, Crusoe underwent another surgery, this time at Cornell to have his bile duct flushed out of stone debris and have biopsies taken. Since then, Crusoe's enzymes have come down dramatically and we couldn't be more thankful.

THE CRUSOE FUND:
This fund is to show our appreciation to Cornell University for their dedication and exceptional expertise in helping figure out Crusoe's case, but also as a way to return the karma from our fans who showed us so much support and love.
By giving to this campaign, you will be helping advance important medical research and clinical trials to help better diagnose and treat diseases, as well as contribute essential equipment and supplies for the Cornell University Hospital for Animals - all of which to better help pets like yours in the future.

- On top of the $10,000 fund-matching, Crusoe will also cover the cost of the gifts & shipping up to $5000 USD.
- Once the campaign ends, Crusoe/Ryan Beauchesne will post a 'proof of donation' to show the amount raised here plus the matched amount up to $10,000 to The Crusoe Fund at Cornell University.
