Many of the Church Avenue and Flatbush Avenue BIDs' businesses are struggling to make it through the business shut down. They need your help now, through Bring Brooklyn Back, so they can survive this challenging time and reopen their doors to create a stronger, more resilient business district.

We've heard from business owners who are worried for their workers, like David who recently sold off his Church Avenue restaurant's prized bourbon collection to raise money for his workers. Others who rely on walk-in sales, like Elie who owns two shoe stores on Flatbush Avenue and has seasonal merchandise sitting unsold in his temporarily-closed shops. And others, like Lorraine and her husband who have owned a Flatbush Avenue children's clothing store for decades and who are being shut out of federal loan programs due to those program's quickly depleted funding.

We need to come together to help them today and Bring Brooklyn Back is just the program to provide the relief they so desperately need.

We Need to Help the Businesses We Love,

Before They are Gone Forever.

The COVID-19 pandemic has decimated our community - especially the neighborhood businesses that we rely on. These are the businesses that fuel our daily lives — the ones that make Brooklyn, BROOKLYN.  Our local businesses are in trouble, and they need our support NOW to survive.

The COVID-19 Impact on Small Businesses

Thousands of our local businesses — entrepreneurs, minority/women and immigrant-owned businesses — have been shut out of many loan programs. This is why the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce designed this non-profit fund to provide vital support to neighborhood businesses that most need help.

"I am proud to support the Bring Back Brooklyn Fund. Brooklyn is all of us!"

- Eric Adams, Brooklyn Borough President

DONATE NOW - Your local small businesses are the heart of our great neighborhoods — help save them today. It's time for all of us to come together to keep our neighborhoods strong.

Make a Difference in Your Community

No-interest, community-driven loans to save local business.

We created the Bring Back Brooklyn Fund in response to COVID-19 when we saw how many of our local businesses were being shut out of government loans. Through our CDFI, Brooklyn Alliance Capital (BAC), we will provide no-interest, recovery loans of $500 - $30,000 to help local small businesses recover from COVID-19.
