#Capital Good Fund

YOUR GENEROUS CONTRIBUTION:

To our campaign will help 5 more families like Mamadou's, who need funds for a wide scope of immigration needs. We are looking to raise loan funds to cover the expenses for applications for citizenship, Green Card renewals or petitions, reuniting families in the US, and other other miscellaneous immigration steps. EACH FAMILY GETS $5000 RAISED.

HELP US HELP THEM TO FUND THEIR NEEDS DUE TO THE LIFE SITUATIONS THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH!

EVERY TIME OUR CAMPAIGN REACHES $5000 MILESTONE, WE WILL COLOR THE ICON IN COLOR TO SHOWCASE OUR PROGRESS.

THANK YOU AND PLEASE FEEL FREE TO RESHARE THIS CAMPAIGN WITH YOUR FRIENDS COLLEAGUES AND NETWORKS.

As the loans are repaid, Good Fund is able to extend even more loans to other immigrant families down the road. Of course, once our families' immigration status is regularized, that enables our customers to work, purchase an automobile, rent a safe & clean home, pay bills, etc. In other words, the positive knock on effect from a single immigration loan extends to a wide range of positive life outcomes for the family and enables Good Fund to help other families with their needs.

AT GOOD FUND, WE ENVISION AN AMERICA FREE OF POVERTY.

It is not easy to escape from poverty - particularly among immigrants to our country. Low-income Americans face numerous obstacles to building better lives for themselves and their families. For many, the promise of the American Dream seems to be slipping away. That's where we come in.

Capital Good Fund is a nonprofit, certified  Community Development Financial Institution  that helps people fix their finances. We offer  small loans  and  personalized Financial + Health Coaching to families in Rhode Island, Florida, Massachusetts, and Delaware.  Our mission is to provide equitable financial services that create pathways out of poverty.

Recognizing the endemic nature of American poverty—as well as the interlocking issues that together form barriers to eradicating it—we use financial empowerment in a holistic way to meet the needs of our clients, foster true social mobility and chip away at the wealth and opportunity gaps in our society.

OUR VALUES

At Good Fund we believe in big ideas for solving big problems in as little time as possible, for we agree that “justice too long delayed is justice denied.” We are inventive, daring, fun, ambitious. We are passionate about collaboration, open-source sharing, transparency, and authenticity. We are unafraid to forge a new path in the service of our mission. And we are single minded in our devotion to fulfilling Dr. Muhammad Yunus’s dream of putting poverty in the only place it belongs: museums.

IMMIGRATION MADE AFFORDABLE

As our government talks endlessly about the challenging task of immigration reform, real families are split apart, detained and humiliated.  This is the catalyst for our Immigration Loans solution.

Our campaign is raising money for people who need funds to apply for citizenship, renew their Green Cards, petition family members to come to the U.S., or take any number of other immigration steps. The loans range from several hundred to several thousand dollars in legal costs and government fees. Our Immigration Loans affordably cover these costs so our clients can focus on their cases instead of worrying about paying a high-interest loan or spending down their savings. Furthermore, we’ll help our clients build their credit score while saving money on interest!

RAISING $250,000 for 50 CLIENTS

On average, immigration expenses (legal and otherwise) total around $5,000 per family. The need is urgent and real, as we have a long list of individuals who seek this loan to reunite their families and regularize their immigration status in the U.S. Your support will directly lead to positive outcomes for legal immigrants, who are part and parcel of the fabric of our nation.
