After graduating from the university, Megan moved to Norway and worked on organic farms in remote villages on islands. She made lifelong friends with a talented musician named Kyrre and the rest is history! Kyrre is a Norwegian string musician, living on the UNESCO- protected island of Vega, just south of the Arctic circle. Kyrre is a sailor at heart and wishes the best for Ocean’s Dream so he too can join the team and sail the seven seas! This product includes the record 'Open Airs' and the album 'Fri'. Grains are organically grown and locally sourced from farmers around MT. Enjoy peas, lentils, beans and more! This share will deliver 1 pound (about 2 cups) of grain each week, for 20 weeks. Megan and Peter met sailing in the Caribbean with 20 university students, while teaching nautical, art and literature sciences. Megan observed Peter’s calm and caring nature with both the students and crew which made a lasting impression. Peter’s talent in expressing the landscape, seascape and mood on paper is remarkable. Ocean’s Dream looks forward to sailing with Peter and witnessing him teach the students onboard how to find their inner voice. This product is a fine art print of an original oil painting!

Quissett Harbor is a quaint wee safe haven in the heart of Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Megan spent many months there, in a traditional Cape Cod cottage, located just above the boat yard where she quickly made friends with the owners. Charlotte, the owners’ daughter, was visiting from Boston and over a fire and fish, Megan and Charlotte met. Charlotte is an avid sailor and grew up sailing the waters around Cape Cod. She now owns her own pattern design and illustrator business, creating beautiful and strong images. Charlotte has already voiced her enthusiasm to sail onboard with Ocean’s Dream and we hope to encourage her husband to join us too!

Homestead Organics Farm's bi-weekly meat share is offered by local Bitterroot farmers who use sustainable and organic practices to bring you the highest quality meat in the Valley. Each week will be familiar cuts and ground meat enough for four servings. Types of meat may include chicken, beef, lamb and pork. All meat will come frozen. Concerned you can't eat it all or you'll be out of town for several weeks over the summer? Consider splitting you share with family or friends and spread the abundance! Many moons ago, Megan lived in Alaska, in a 100 year old shack, built by a Norwegian, situated on a boardwalk, where the mountains meet the sea. Sometimes the sea would rise higher than the floorboards and Megan would have to drain the water out, through a small hole, just like you would drain your rowboat! Chris had just sailed through the Northwest Passage in a 27 foot wooden junk rigged sailboat and Megan recognized the kangaroo painted on the boat’s transom. She had been following their blog for the last few years...and what do you know...their paths were meant to cross. Megan has visited Chris in Australia and someday, intends to sail Ocean’s Dream to Christmas Island, where Chris owns and operates Swell Lodge, located in Australia's national park on the island. Peer and Megan met aboard the Bark Europa, sailing from Urshuia, Argentina to Antarctica. That voyage was one Megan will never forget and Peer’s good humor, kindly manner and positive spirit is a large reason why Ocean’s Dream was founded. After sailing with passengers, such as Peer, and arriving to remote locations, where the possibility existed for quiet, peace and reflection to take place, Megan saw that the effect this had on people was life changing. Peer continues to be a fan and supporter of Ocean’s Dream and we all look forward to sailing with you again soon! This product comes with a certificate of authenticity!
