Connie J Locke hasn't added a story.
Daisy is a sweet 8 year old Dachshund who had to have surgery because her disk in her back went out and she lost all feeling in her back legs. I rescued Daisy from a puppy mill she was very sick when i got her.She was doing fine until 2 years we woke up one morning and went outside she took a few steps and went down she could not use her back legs at all.We rushed her to the vet and they had to do emergency surgery on her she had to stay 3 days in the hospital. She was up and walking in about a week. Then 7 months ago she went down again we rushed her back to the vet and they had to do surgery again another disk had ruptured while she was in surgery she stopped breathing on them they had to stopp the surgery and wait a couple of days before they could do the surgery this time she did not get so lucky she had no feeling in her back legs for months after the surgery .I took her to therapy twice a week for three monts hoping she would walk again and i also did water therapy at home everyday for months with her at home. She cah stand up for a few minutes and take a fe steps but that is it. It has been 7 months now and the vet has said it is time to get her a rolling cart he said it would help her back muscles get stronger and she might be able to walk on her own again someday but between paying for the 2 surgeries and therapy i cannot afford a cart right now so i need to sallo my pride and ask for help I will do anything to help my fur baby.Any amount that you give will be appricated so please will you please help Daisy get her wheels. Thank you.
