Paraiso del Bosque is a natural reserve, preserving 92 hectacres of rainforest, to aid universities and private studies.  It is located in the Carribbean region of Costa Rica and is rich with biodiversity and an astounding number of medicinal plants and fungi currently being studied.  It is the home of sloths, pumas, and green mecaws.  The importance of preserving rainforests, in an area where deforestation is prevalent, is at the forefront of Paraiso del Bosque's mission.

Many structures and projects have already been completed over the last ten years, as seen on the website www.paraisodelbosquelodge.com, but the project is not complete.  One of the most neccessary projects is to fit a new hydroelectric system for more renewable power throughout the reserve.  Once the new generator is installed, the entire preserve will have enough clean energy with less frequent upkeep and repairs.  Sustainability is always forefront with the preserve management is implementing new materials and technology.

Donations and support go to projects supporting Paraiso del Bosque nature preserve.
