I am raising money to purchase a memorial bench to site in the grounds of Williamson Park in memory of my friend James Wilton. In addition to this, I am now also raising money for a "Mr James" memorial bench to be sited at Ryelands Primary School.

I am raising money to purchase a memorial bench to site in the grounds of Williamson Park in memory of my friend James Wilton.  In addition to this, I am now also raising money for a "Mr James" memorial bench to be sited at Ryelands Primary School.

James sadly passed away following a motorbike accident near Settle on Sunday 2nd February 2014 at the age of 32. James' unexpected death shocked all who knew him and left myself and many people feeling heartbroken. James' service of thanksgiving took place on 14th February 2014 and although it was an extremely sad and painful day, it was also a chance for all who loved him to celebrate James' life and remember all the times spent with him.

James is loved by all who knew him, he was a caring, supportive and loyal friend to me throughout the years. It is very important for myself, his friends, girlfriend and family to have somewhere to visit where we can go to remember James. As Williamson Park is somewhere we all have happy memories, I would like to place a bench with a plaque attached.

I have been in contact with Williamson Park, who would be happy for a memorial bench to be placed there. The cost for the bench and plaque will be approximately £700.

James also worked as Caretaker at Ryelands Primary School since 2010.  Staff and children would like somewhere closeby where they can sit and remember James whilst at school.  James' sister has been in conatct with the Head Teacher who would be happy for donationtaions toward a memorial.  Any amount of money raised following payment of the Williamson Park bench and plaque will be passed to Ryelands Primary School for a "Mr James" school bench.

I would like to give everyone the opportunity to contribute towards the cost of the benches. Any donations would be gratefully received and appreciated by all who know and love James. Please give what you can, and if you know anybody else who might be interested in donating please forward them a link to this page.

Thank you.
