While they've been running that, I've been, well, running. It will come as a surprise to some of my long standing friends (who know I hate any form of exercise and resent being forced to run for a bus) that I have discovered, at this stage of my life, the joy of pulling on my Vibram Five Fingers (those bizarre "barefoot" shoes with individual toes you may have seen) and taking off down the towpath, the woods, muddy trails and flooded valleys for a couple of hours. I started at the end of June last year and now, 400 miles later, I'm looking for a challenge.

Lost For Words is an inclusive community theatre group with a very wide remit: from weekly workshops for kids to full scale theatrical events (we're all massively looking forward to "Avenue Q" this April) to charitable works for the local community, including taking theatre and music into hospitals/care homes etc.

Obviously, it would be great to build upon this work, but they need more money in the coffers. So, please, if you can spare a couple of quid, please donate on this page. I'm hoping to complete the course within 2 hours and, with your support, maybe even shave another couple of minutes off that. Thank you all.
