My name is Anne: I'm a Canadian Expat teaching at The Copey Learning Center, a non-profit organization in the rural mountains of Costa Rica. We need your help! The Center provides English classes to the elementary and high-school students as well as to the adults of the community. All teachers and administrators work on a volunteer basis and we rely on the kindest of strangers for resource materials. Funded by a handful of benefactors and a nominal tuition fee of $2 per month, the Center is growing and reaching the small community in a meaningful way; however, we need help to upgrade and update our small one-room classroom, implement newer technology and develop an exchange program. The Center is a vital project, promoting social development and environmental conservation through learning. Won't you please help us? Any amount you can spare will go directly to enhancing the students' learning experience, which translates into better life opportunities creating sustainability. We sincerely thank you for your generosity!!
