Sage, a 4.5-month old puppy, came to us from a shelter in California, along with his brother Clove and his momma Saffron. Saffron had four visually impaired puppies: two were adopted from the shelter and the other two (Sage and Clove) found their second chance at life through Cause for Paws Utah in Salt Lake City.

This sweet family has been seen by many wonderful rescue-friendly veterinarians, including Dr. Knollinger at the Eyecare for Animals Clinic. It was recently determined that Clove is completely blind. Luckily, being visually impaired doesn't bring him down!

Sage, on the other hand, is able to see out of one eye. The other eye, however, is causing him some discomfort and needs to be removed.

We would like to get Sage into surgery as soon as possible, but as a small volunteer-run organization we rely solely on donations. Please consider a donation to CFPU to help us give Sage the care that he needs. No donation is too small...and we are grateful for all donations we receive. We rely on your support to continue our rescue efforts!
