CorgiPals, Inc. hasn't added a story.
"We got Ricky Bobby on November 20, 2009 from our local humane society in Ft Worth, Texas. He came with a story that we didn't find about until we took him back to get his nurturing done. The animal control officer told my husband that Ricky B was left behind, chained to a pole to fend for himself. The neighbors had finally had enough and informed the animal control that his original owner bought him in hopes to show him but for some reason abandoned the idea and Ricky B. The shelter had fostered Ricky B with shelter workers until he was healthy enough to adopt out. When we came across Ricky B in the shelter we first passed him and started looking at others. When we were leaving one of the workers had him out of his cage for a walk and he came up to us and we asked what his name was, they had named him Ricky Bobby. Both my daughter and I looked at my husband and said we want him. So to the adoptions we went, and he became ours. That day we took him to my in-laws so they could meet them and there little dog Jackson a dash hound mix, they became best buds and chased each other like they have known each other for years.
Ricky B loves to chill at home as well if he has a bone to chew on, you can time him on when it will be gone. Since Ricky B likes to chew some we limit him on stuffed animals because just like the bones the stuffing will be out in no time flat. Ricky B loves going outside and stakeout the squirrels. Even though they taunt him he is always trying to get his taste of one. We give the squirrels fair warning when Ricky B heads out the gate, which reminds me of a raging bull coming out of the shoots at a rodeo.
When we finally noticed his tumor, my daughter saw it and freaked out. It was a size of a dime and a little raised. I had taken him to the vet and he had said it was a tumor, and Ricky B was not happy about getting poked and prodded. So now his little dime has turned into a golf ball, he has finished his antibiotics and it is getting bigger. With my hours at work are being limited I have not had the money to help my little buddy like I would like. He had really been the best little big dog I have ever had and I would really appreciate the help."
The cost of Ricky Bobby's tumor removal will be about $372. Let's do our best to raise the funds for this sweet boy to have his tumor removed, so he can continue to live the life he deserves with his new loving family!
