Many of us know the story centering around the tragic loss of life of Maurice's son, Maurice II. In an attempt to save his life Maurice Sr, was critically injured too, resulting in significant medical cost. More ...
On Jan 7, 2013 Maurice and Danielle endured a tragic event resulting in both of them being shot multiple times at the hands of someone they both loved; Danielle's mother. This event ended with the loss of lives as well. Maurice Edmonds II, (age 14 y/o) the son of Maurice Sr and Danielle's brother was shot and killed at the hands of his mother, Sander Palmer. In turn, she also fatally shot herself. In this ordeal Maurice Sr was credit with saving the life of his daughter Danielle an 18 y/o college student who suffered 11 gunshot wounds. They both have been hospitalized going on 1 week now but are expected to make a full recovery. However, based on the magnitude of this event, they need our help. At Present Maurice is unable to return to work. There are hospital bills to be paid, and the unthinkable task of burial expenses for his son, Maurice the II. For those who know Maurice, you know his character, and his heart. I've known him personally for over 40 yrs and my heart is heavy for his losses. Many of you have shown your support through prayers and kind words and I ask that we now take it one step forward by assisting Maurice and Danielle financially in their time of need and grief. Please join me by contributing to this worthy cause. Any amount you feel compelled to give, whether it be as little as $1.00 or more, it will go along way in assisting Maurice and Danielle with the rehabilitative care, and the cost associated with burying their loved ones. Thank you in advance for your support and contributions.
