Today, January 16, 2012, at 5:35PM, my beautiful grandson Baby Thomas passed away with his mommy and daddy by his side. This fundraiser is now for final expenses. Thank you one and all.
My daughter Shenelle Gutierrez, who has lived in Manteca, CA her whole life and her significant other Thomas LaBoch gave birth to my beautiful grandson Thomas Joseph LaBoch II on May 31, 2012 who was born with a severe heart condition.

Their family resources have quickly run out. They need help with all expenses, from how to pay the rent to continued train fare back and forth to the Children's Hospital of San Francisco, CA. Baby Thomas has been there since birth and will continue to reside in the hospital for at least another 6 months.

Their lives are focused on getting their son well, while at the same time providing a loving and nurturing home for their daughter. They go to the hospital in shifts, so that each one spends time with the baby and with their daughter.

When Baby Thomas was born with this horrific disease they had to give up their jobs to focus full time on his survival. This is about more than just a child being sick. This little boy is literally fighting for his life. His parents are with him every step of the way, fighting with him.

And they need help financially. And I don't know how else to help them, except to start this fundraiser and see what happens. For those that are wondering, yes, we have also helped out financially, but now we are running low on funds as well.

Statistically speaking my grandson odd's of survival dramatically increase if he has continuous interaction with his parents. If we do not come up with some sort of funding quickly then at least one of his parents will have to obtain employment, which will mean that parent will not be able to interact with Baby Thomas on a regular basis, which will significantly lower his chances of survival, in what is already an uphill battle.

Please help my grandson and his family survive.

Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference.
