Thank you for the consideration in Sponsoring a Mile to help Alli! On September 23, I will be riding my first ever "Century" Bicycle Ride (its actually going to be 102 miles but who is counting) This ride is one of the most exciting times of the year for me, it usually takes over 4 hours of painful peddling. But this year as I started my training I was blessed to have met some amazing people that going through some Parenting Obstacles. New parents Dustin and Naomi recently had their first baby girl, Alli. Alli her Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and all of their family needs our support. Below I will be providing you with some information about Alli and her parents and why they need our help! Ill do the hard part by peddling, I just hope you will help by making a donation to this amazing family. My HOPE is raise $10 per mile. If you sponsor a mile I will provide you will a picture of your mile on my trek! --- Alexzandra Grace Showers was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a form of cancer that grows at the end of nerve endings - usually in children and infants, in May of 2012. Alli is now almost 1, her birthday is August 2nd and she is currently on her 4th round of chemo! She is holding up well, but she has a long road ahead of her. The entire family has adapted to the many changes in their day to day lives whether staying at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, meeting with a visiting nurse at home, or becoming meticulous about the needs of Alli’s home environment. We have established a couple of ways for people to help her family during this difficult time. The family has setup a Walmart baby registry has been set up to assist in basic needs such as diapers and antibacterial cleaning supplies. Which all of your donations will go directly for. The registry is under Jessica Niemiste. (Dustin’s sister) -- Jessica is also making bracelets with golden yellow in the bracelets represent childhood cancer - spreading awareness of the cause. If you can't make a donation Please Buy a bracelet to help support Alli! There are two different styles [single wrap and double wrap] that are $15 each! All proceeds from this Fundraiser and Jewerly profits will go directly to Alli Grace and her family. ♥ *Updates can be seen on the Facebook page "Team Alexzandra Grace"
