The day after Easter Sunday, on April 9, 2012, Sheila Case, also formally known as Sheila Wolf had awoke with an excruciating headache, which she dismissed as a cause of stress. However later, while attending business, she blacked out in the middle of an interview and could no longer formulate sentences or walk. She was rushed to memorial hospital, where they did a cat scan verifying that she had a Brain Aneurism. She was immediately air lifted to SLU hospital where they performed a lengthy brain surgery. After brain surgery concluded, Sheila remained in ICU for 3 weeks and was released May 1st to the care of her only daughter, twenty-four year old, Brittany Case whom returned home from college in lieu of circumstances. Unfortunately, Sheila’s health insurance ended just one month before her aneurism occurred due to a lay off from her former job at Allied Medical Equipment. Sheila is currently in the process of recovery, and is adjusting to a new lifestyle post aneurism. Sudden lack of income and pilling medical bills has threatened the Case household
