Today is Giving Tuesday—a day specifically designated for supporting the organizations that are close to our hearts and are making a difference in the world. For me, that’s Seneca Waterways Council, because I have personally seen so much good come from the people involved in our community.

• I’m talking about our young people who gain confidence, skills, friends, independence, and unique experiences.
• I’m talking about their parents who gain peace of mind, time with their kids, the joy of watching their children develop, and a network of Scout families that they can rely on.
• I’m talking about our community that gains hard workers, good citizens who understand the value of community service, and honorable leaders.

For all these reasons and so many more, I’m convinced that Seneca Waterways Council is one of the nation’s best organizations to support on Giving Tuesday. The return on investment is profound when our investment is in the next generation. As part of our family, you understand that better than anyone.
