Traction on Demand & One Girl Can

Traction has once again partnered up with  One Girl Can,  an incredible organization with a mission of rebuilding schools and providing scholarships & mentorship for girls living in extreme poverty in Africa. Our goal is to raise $35,000, which will sponsor 10 girls' university education ($3,500 each).  This includes tuition, living allowance, a laptop, and attendance to the annual One Girl Can Leadership Conference in Nairobi, Kenya. Please support by donating to our cause and help us change the lives of 10 smart young African women!

 

Team 9 - Team Prisca

Katrina Bollozos, Denise Sandoval and Tatiana Mawani have teamed up together to sponsor one of the 10 girls - Prisca Pendo Kasiwa. Please help us reach our goal of sending Prisca to university and help her achieve her dream of becoming a doctor!

We build and rehabilitate girls’ schools in Kenya. We are committed to long-term partnerships that ensure school infrastructures will continue to support growth and provide a dynamic and safe learning environment.

 We Educate
We provide secondary and university scholarships for girls with the greatest need and highest potential. This support ensures girls continue their education and never miss a day of school due to poverty or cultural pressure.

We Mentor
Together with our volunteer team of professional local women, we empower girls from high school to university level to achieve their potential through our series of mentoring workshops.
