Three very kind Dad’s (James Stone, Chris Pertwee and Dave Cole) have offered to cycle in this years Prudential Ride London on Sunday the 4th August 2019. It is a huge challenge which involves cycling 100 miles starting at the Olympic Park, through London in to the Surrey countryside then entering back in to London, around some famous landmarks.... Then crossing the finishing line on The Mall. This ride involves some of the toughest hill climbs in the UK !

Although these Dad’s love cycling what is really pushing them to achieve this challenge is to help improve their children’s village primary school. They have taken on this challenge to raise money for the school to try and make a huge contribution for the fundraising towards the school improvements. The school is undergoing some major building works to repair one of the school hall walls. Ideally the school needs new flooring in the hall so whilst significant fund-raising has already taken place, and is planned to continue in the future, this ride could boost the much needed funds no end!

They have all been training hard and racking up miles of practice, they have had some practice cycles out together including a trip from Stebbing to Southwold ... and another trip is in the planning stages to cycle from Stebbing to Norwich….. What would also spur them on would be to see this fund grow & grow. Not only would it be a massive incentive to the Dad’s but it would be greatly appreciated by all the pupils, staff & parents at Stebbing Primary School.

We appreciate people give generously all the time to big charities but any amount you could donate to this cause would be something so many would be thankful for.
