URGENT ATTENTION: Our mum needs YOUR help... Our mum's landlord has been abusing her for years - physically, psychologically, mentally and emotionally. His ignorance of her health issues speaks volumes to the incorrigible character of this sub-human.
After several attempts to verbally advise the Landlord to accommodate her requests for notice to be given to enter the premise, for notice regarding the prohibiting of chemical spraying on the grounds whilst she is on site, and notice to alert her when she needs to make alternate living arrangements during any time he intended to spray... her requests have been ignored for years. And so anyone who has noticed on her Social Media, she began making records of each time she took some form of subtle action, request were made politely, a sign placed on the gate asking him to comply... the list goes on. In many cases the Landlord would storm her front door, screaming torrents of abuse at her and my younger brother, or phone her all hours to do the same.
Finally she wrote him a letter and issued him a legally compliant Breach Notice... he retaliated in the most vile way. He gave her 60 days to vacate... YES! He is evicting her for issuing HIM a BREACH NOTICE... He has also stated in one way or another that he will be making a concerted effort to withhold her Bond Monies for issuing him the Breach. The authorities state this is in itself is another landlord breach and also illegal.
Annie is a well respected, and much adored, person, advocate, and speaker, in the business community. Always ready to help others and give of herself to enable others to succeed. She recently lost her mother to a very long battle with cancer, and after years of travelling to and from Brisbane in support, mum was finaly able to lay her to rest a couple of months ago. For those that do not know, our mum is not well, she is in and out of MS remission (Mulitple Schlerosis), and therefore not strong enough to manage a move without professional assistance to make it much easier. She has a heart issue that is caused by chemicals, especially pesticides and herbicides brought on by a prior incidence of a neighbour spraying RoundUp on the fenceline at her former residence. This rendered her to have a heart attack which in turn made her more susceptible.
Needless to say this is not unlike Domestic Abuse. Because she has little to no income, and health issues, she feared taking action because of the costs associated with it, the limited support and help she has to accommodate such a move, and no finances to make it happen.
Due to these current circumstances we're asking everyone who can help to reach out and give her your support.
The following things will need to be arranged and financed as quickly as possible to ensure she can relocate away from this Abuser.
- She needs a new home. Location: Sunshine Coast Queensland, Australia. Her budget only allows for under $300 per week. My youngest brother is still living at home also, so it must accommodate him too. She has NRAS.
- She will need a removalist or someone with a truck or large trailer to help out with the lifting and moving.
- She needs a cleaner to take care of the Bond Clean.
- Financial assistance, donations, discounts, etc.
The RTA, and Authorities have been informed. The landlord will be dealt with in time. We await outcomes of reports and action.
Thank you in advance for your kind hearts and gracious donations. We wish you all the very best in life.
