How does a 17 year old end up as a "stray" on the streets, and even more heartbreaking is thinking about what lack of care that little one had for them to come to rescue with a difficult case of heartworm and a mouth full of rotten teeth that had to have been hurting her for a very long time....

Grace is one of those little souls that we are racing against the clock to bring back to health so that she can enjoy as much time as she has with DRSF.  Grace came to us last week as a stray and went right to Emerald Hills Animal Hospital to get checked out and tested positive for heartworm along with some very bad teeth.

She has started the painful heartworm treatment already (which requires a series of shots and for a dog to be kept calm so that the worms do not "clot" as they die and are flushed from the heart) and will soon be going for a dental to remove probably all her teeth.

We need your help to provide her the care she needs and ask if you might consider a donation for a sweet little girl who deserves to feel much better than she has in a long time <3

We welcome donations of any size, and even if you can't donate, please feel free to share some love by leaving a message for Grace and sharing is great too!

Thank you in advance for your support and for helping us to make doxie dreams come true from pups all the way up to our beautiful seniors!!
