It’s February and puppy love is in the air, please consider a donation to benefit Second Chance Shelter in Boaz in the name of Puppy Love during the month of February!

Second Chance Shelter is holding a donation drive for the month of February to raise funds for the construction of the “B.B. Center” (named in honor of a very special senior Second Chance Alumnus). The B.B. Center will incorporate an intake area, infirmary, a nursery for pregnant and/or new mom’s brought to the shelter with young puppies, an area for small or elderly dogs, and a grooming station. The new facility will go a long way towards improving the day to day AND long-term quality of life for our four legged residents.

We are asking you to “Show Your Puppy Love" by making a debit/credit card donation through this fundraising site. Or, mail a monetary donation via check or cash to 130 County Rd 398, Boaz, Alabama 35957, with a note specifying the Puppy Love Campaign (so it can be counted toward our big goal for the month of February).  Every donation made to Second Chance is tax-deductible, as we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. With over 10,000 fans on our Facebook Page we are asking everyone to make a donation of just $1 dollar towards our campaign (but please feel free to contribute more if you have the means and wish to). Just imagine what we could raise if every fan on facebook donated and then sent the link on to their friends, family and colleagues. Together lets show our puppy love for the puppies!

P.S. the wonderful hand-drawn cover picture was drawn by Isabella, a budding artist from Evans Elementary.
