Asking for help has never been easy for me. Even when people offer, it has always been hard for me to accept it. I am always the person who people can ask for help. And almost all of the time, I give it with 110% and asking nothing in return. ...

Asking for help has never been easy for me. Even when people offer, it has always been hard for me to accept it. I am always the person who people can ask for help. And almost all of the time, I give it with 110% and asking nothing in return.

Well, I am humbled now by telling you all, I am in need of your help. A friend recommended I try this, and I figured it was worth a shot.. I am unemployed, and have been since August of 2013. Before that I only worked from February to August, so it didn't leave alot of time to save up while paying bills at a job barely over minimum wage. I am no longer eligible for any unemployment services assistance, and I have applied for any assistance through the State that I can get, actually using the word "destitute", and I have also been denied help.

I have an opportunity to make a change in my life, move forward and try to get out of this slump I am in. The is a job opportunity that offers training, job plaement, medical and retirement benefits. Training is out of state, and job placement is immediate after training. I have done alot of research and this looks to be a promising, healthy employment move.

The story most don't know is that my parents have been helping alot more than they should for a man of my age. If I didn't have them, i wouldn't be surviving. And they are prepared to help me with this venture if needed. It would come at a cost to them, and i do not want to put them in that position. I return their generosity by keeping them healthy and doing the daily tasks they find hard, but I couldn't ask them to do this.

I am asking for your help so that I can start a new chapter in life and not have to start out with another mound of serious debt, and with a clear conciense knowing I did not financially burden my parents with this. I know the economy is stuggling and everyone is feeling the pinch, but even the smallest of help can add up. Please, DO NOT feel OBLIGATED to help just because I may know you or be related to you in some way. Please don't condemn me for asking for help. It took alot of courage and self assurance for me to be able to reach out like this.

Thank yous will go beyond words for anyone that can help. And thank you for taking the time to read my story.
