On Thursday, July 12, 2012, Cypress Riding School was flooded when Cypress Creek overflowed its banks. More than 80 horses had to be evacuated from the property. Thankfully, quick thinking and lots of friends prevented the loss of any of our dear equine friends. All of the Cypress Riding School horses were evacuated and are now safely, temporarily at the Sam Houston Race Park. BUT, the destruction is massive and Cypress Riding School has suffered a huge blow! All hay, shavings, feed, some tack and barn infrastructure have been destroyed. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Any assistance (monetary, in kind, used tack, manual labor) would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! We love what we do, we are blessed with wonderful friends and wonderful horses. PLEASE HELP US GET BACK IN THE SADDLE! Make a contribution today - click on the PayPal link. PS - Kansas is my horse so this is for real!
