がん支援、2025年「Continent 2 Continent 4 Cancer」チャリティライドについて　- About the 2025 Continent 2 Continent 4 Cancer Ride -

「Continent 2 Continent 4 Cancer（C2C4C）」チャリティライドは、ブリストル マイヤーズ スクイブが、がん研究の促進とがん患者さんとそのご家族を支援するために社員自らが寄付を募る活動です。2025年、日本でのライドにはアジア太平洋地域の6ヵ国から60名の社員が参加し、10月7日から21日までの約2週間、5つのチームがリレー形式で1,800キロを走行し、国際がん連合（UICC）と連携する各地域の患者団体に寄付する募金活動を行います。

初めてのC2C4Cチャリティライドは12年前に米国の有志の社員によって始まり、その後、欧州に広がり、5年前から日本でも開始しました。2022年からはラテンアメリカも加わりました。2021年以来、C2C4Cライドを通じてアジア太平洋地域の慈善団体に55万ドル以上が寄付されています。

認定NPO法人「マギーズ東京」へ寄付　- Raising Funds for the Maggie's Toyko -

日本のライドチームはがん患者やその家族の闘病生活を支援するマギーズ東京を応援しています。

マギーズ東京は、がんを経験した人とその家族や友人など、がんに影響を受けるすべての人が、とまどい孤独なとき利用できる場所です。がんの種類や旅路にかかわらず、どなたでもご利用いただけます。すべてのサポートは無料で、予約や紹介は必要ありません。病院でも自宅でもない、第二の我が家のような空間で、がんのことに詳しい看護師や心理士とお茶を飲みながらお話ししたり、グループプログラムに参加したり、静かなスペースでご自身の時間を過ごすことで、再び自分の力を取り戻す一歩を一緒に探します。

マギーズ東京の活動は多くの方のチャリティ（寄付や協力）に支えられています。また、 マギーズ東京は「マギーズがんケアセンター国際ネットワーク」の正式メンバーです。

ライダーについて - Who Are the Riders  -

ライダーはすべて社員で、チームとして完走するために5ヵ月間の集中的なトレーニングを受け、当日に挑みます。ライダーの中には自分自身が、がんサバイバーであったり、友人や家族ががんの影響を受けた経験を持っていたりと、それぞれの強い想いを胸にペダルをこぎます。一人、山道を含む約300キロ（3日にわたり）という過酷なライドへの挑戦を通じて、がんとの闘いに少しでも気持ちを寄せ、患者さんやそのご家族の闘病生活を支援するマギーズ東京の活動の幅を広げるため、寄付活動に全力を尽くします。

About the 2025 Continent 2 Continent 4 Cancer Ride

The "Continent 2 Continent 4 Cancer (C2C4C)" charity ride is an initiative by Bristol Myers Squibb where employees themselves raise donations to support cancer. In 2025, the ride in Japan will see 60 employees from six countries in the Asia-Pacific region participating. From October 7th to 21st, over approximately two weeks, five teams will relay 1,800 kilometers, raising funds to donate to patient organizations in each region in collaboration with the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).

The inaugural C2C4C ride was held twelve years ago in the United States as Coast 2 Coast 4 Cancer. Riders in Europe joined the effort in 2016 for the Country 2 Country 4 Cancer, Japan in 2021 and Latin America in 2022 as the Continent 2 Continent 4 Cancer.Since 2021, more than USD 550,000 has been donated to charitable organizations in Asia Pacific via the C2C4C ride.

Raising Funds for the Maggie's Toyko

Maggie's Tokyo is a Cancer Caring Centre where anyone affected by cancer, including those who have experienced it and their families and friends, can find solace and support during times of confusion and loneliness. Regardless of the type of cancer or the stage of their journey, everyone is welcome. All support is free, and no reservations or referrals are needed. In a space that feels like a second home, rather than a hospital or home, individuals can talk with Cancer Support Specialist nurses and psychologists over a cup of tea, participate in evidence based group programs, or spend quiet time alone to regain their strength.

Maggie's Tokyo's activities are entirely supported by donations and contributions from supporters. Additionally, Maggie's Tokyo is an official member of the "Maggie's Cancer Care Centre International Network."

Who Are the Riders

The participants are novice riders, who have committed themselves to 5 months of intensive training to complete their portion of the ride. Some are cancer survivors, others have witnessed the devastating impact of cancer on family and friends. Their kilometers will help raise funds to fight against cancer by supporting Maggie's Tokyo , a member of the Union for International Cancer Control.
