Our D&D club is an opportunity for students to become heroes, solve problems, work together, and do quick math, all without screens!  It's exactly the kind of positive interaction and joy that our children need after two years of socially-distant learning.

I really want the students to get the hands-on experience of designing and producing their own set of gaming dice - like these:

It's a great opportunity to have the students learn a craft and engage in practical science. It would also give them a sense of ownership and pride and further establish our new club.

Our PTO has already been very generous, funding us for $750.00, but I am asking for help to raise $1,000.00 more because our club proved more popular than expected.  We need to scale up!  As a result, your donation would help us purchase everything from safety goggles and disposable aprons to resin pours and colored glitters, paints, and paintbrushes.  This donation point would also allow us to have materials for next year, allow students to re-cast dice if there was a mishap in the process, and give students more creative options in creating their unique dice.  Please know the safety plan for this project has been approved by the good people at the District's Risk Management department.

Donor Rewards

• All donors can expect to see FERPA-safe photographs of the design and casting process.
• All donors can be present during the dice casting process after meeting BSD volunteer paperwork requirements. 
• All donors will receive a signed thank you card featuring a unique design created by a D&D club student. 
• Donors who give $70 or more will receive a student-made custom dice set made according to your design wishes (quality may vary!).
