With over 100 deaths and thousands of injuries a year in the US alone caused by the blinding sun glare, I have designed and patented a multi-panel sun visor system the "ADD-VISOR" that uses transparent tinted panels that allows the driver to see the road and obstacles ahead during the blinding sun glare driving conditions. Once the panels are extended, from their standard sun visor stowed position, they cover the entire viewing area simultaneously and eliminate 90% of the blinding sun glare and the need to pivot a single sun visor panel from front to side and back again, enhancing safety for those in the vehicle as well as those who could be struck by that vehicle.
