Milo is the kitten Joe (my fiance) got for me on our 3 month anniversary, he's a Maine Coon mix. We got him when he was practically dying from an upper respiratory infection but after a long recovery he has been healthy for the last 8 months.

However we just found out our little Milo (who just turned a year old) has been diagnosed with a life long disease that affects his bladder, kidneys, and urniary tract. He has been in a lot of pain from stones (kitty equivalent too kideny stones) but is a tropper. In the last 24 hours we have had to take him to the animal hospital twice and the bills are already over $500. And unless he greatly improves by tomorrow which it doesnt seem like it tonight he will have to have surgery.

We wouldn't normally do this but this put a huge strain on our financial situtaion so were asking anyone that can donate any amount, even a $1 it would really help!

*UPDATE*

We're all really tired from a long night. We just dropped of Milo for surgery he was in so much pain and could barely move.
The bills in the last two days are now over $1000 so any thing helps! Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated. We appreciate it more than you can know.

*UPDATE*

So Milo's surgery went ok. However they had some complications and he spiked a major fever afterwards. His blood work also showed signs of kidney damage but we don't know yet if its just temporary or permanent. So with all of those considerations we had to transfer him to an overnight hospital so he can be monitored.
The bills are now almost $2000 so if anyone can donate a couple bucks, even a dollar we would greatly appreciate it.
There is a picture I posted of little Milo before we left the emergency hospital he will being staying at tonight. The staff there is wonderful so it's good to know he will be monitored all night and taken care of. He is the best cat. And all the nurses that meet him always say the same thing. When we went back to say goodbye he banged his head into the cage trying to give us kisses.
Again if anyone could help donate towards his fund, we would appreciate it more than you know!

*UPDATE*

On our way home finally!
Milo is doing much better. We have to closely monitor him for the next few weeks very closely.
We're really hoping once the prescription he has to be on for the rest of his life kicks in we won't have this problem this bad again.
For right now its just waiting to see what will happen though.
Thank you for everyone who has donated. So far we've raised $357. Which is amazing! His medical bills are at almost $2,000 so if anyone else would like to donate we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again for everyones support!

*UPDATE*

Were back at the ER again. Milo was acting funny and showing bad signs again at home and the vet had us bring him back to be checked. It's getting rougher and rougher.

*UPDATE*

Milo is doing ok. He is starting to get back to normal. Unfortunately he is at high risk for stones the next two months, until the prescription food he has to be on for the rest of his life kicks in. Until then we could have this happen again at any time. Thank you to everyone who has helped out already. We appreciate it so much. If anyone else would like to donate a few dollars to help with his hospital bills the link is below. Thanks again.
