On March 5, 2014 my brother, Jon Wilson, was diagnosed with Nodular Sclerosis Hodgkins Lymphoma. It was diagnosed at an advanced stage at his first Oncologist appointment and our family began researching all possible options for his treatment. The research paid off as he has been accepted into a drug trial at the Barabara Ann Karmanos institute in Detroit, Michigan. If he receives the new drug, then his remission rate will increase from 65% to 90%.

Jon is a very loving father to his beautiful 8 year old daughter Isabella and had recently been engaged less than a week prior to the heart breaking diagnosis. His attitude is one that people aspire to have. The type of person that anyone would gravitate to for a laugh and a big smile. The easiest way to explain him is if he found your wallet, not only would he return it, there would be an extra $20 in it when you got it back because he felt bad for you losing it. He is one of the strongest people I know and is doing everything he can to fight this disease.
