Capt. Chester Coggeshall was murdered by Nazi officials on the last mission of his second tour as a Fighter Pilot in WW2. Chester flew combat missions from Jan 1944 to April 1945, when he was shot down in Nazi Germany.  Chester had completed one tour and volunteered for a second.

Help the Nuthampstead Airfield Museum purchase his jacket before it is lost to a private collector.  Enable the Museum to place the jacket on display for the public to appreciate Chester's ultimate sacrifice.

The seller is willing to part with the jacket at a greatly reduced price, but would like to recoup the money they purchased it for, $1500.00.

The Museum will use it's funds to ship the item across to the UK, but desperately needs funds to secure the purchase of the jacket itself.
