Pulled From The Pit Rescue and Rehabilitation is a FORMING 501c3 organization specializing in rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming pit bulls and pit bull mixes. We will be dedicated to pulling pits off euthanasia lists and out of high kill shelters.

We are in the middle of forming our own 501c3 non profit Pit Bull (and Pit Bull Mix) rescue and rehabilitation center nestled on 18 acres of farm land. We have our building plans in the works and we are now fundraising to put our plans into action. We started this fundraiser first for a dog we were trying to save off a New York euthanasia list. After contacting a local rescue that pulled the dog from the kill list for us, we were making arrangments to transport him to us. NY locals caught wind of this arrangement with the rescue and quickly put an end to any chance he had of being placed with us. It was a very eye opening experience and after working for our local shelter and being an animal control officer for almost 3 years, decided it was time to take a stand and make a difference for these dogs that have little to no time left to live. Right now, we are fundraising for money for our kennels and for the building supplies and all the necessary items to have a clean, professional, and successful rescue/rehab center for these dogs. If you would like to help us in any way (labor, supplies, donations), please contact us. Our 501c3 application is underway and will be approved and completed in 3-4 weeks and then we can do tax write offs for any and all donations. Thank you everyone for all your support.
