I am Anthony Aldridge, some people remember my dedication for my customers when I could work and ran my own business a few years ago. Unfortunately those times are now gone and looks as if I will never see them again. My US Army Disability has gotten worse to the point that using the wheelchair is the best most efficient way for me to get around. Unfortunately my house isn't wheel chair accessible just because the height, when we bought it I tried to make sure the house was disability friendly inside. Anyways, thanks to the grace and kindness of family I have a wheelchair, but I don't have feet for the wheelchair or the funding to get the ramps built so I don't have to struggle on the stairs. I would try with the VA but I am only getting 20% disability and the last time I saw a doctor there they told me even more news I didn't want to hear. I've been appealing my disability case over 5 years now with no luck not even through my congressman. I'm not easily persuaded for asking for help but my very patient loving wife is now suffering because of my disability. I used to be active, energetic, outgoing, and overall happy but this disability has been slowly picking away at all those traits making me bitter and a anti-social type person. Not really mad at anyone but public places make me feel uncomfortable when people stare at me when I cringe or moan when I move etc.

Anyways, I need help, hopefully you all can help me. I want to start being less of a recluse and be more open to people but I need ways to easily go in-out of this house without struggling up / down the stairs and a way to sit comfortably in the wheelchair without my wife suffering by loading it up in the chair every time we go somewhere.

I have a friend that can build the ramp he would do it for free but I don't want him to have to. He has a wife and 2 kids to feed so I really want a way to make sure he gets paid. He's done so much for my family I just couldn't ask him to do it for free if the community could help. If you like games I have some left over stuff from my business like Fallout coasters I can send to anyone who donates over $5 in US / $10 Overseas so I don't go in the negative with shipping costs. Just say you'd like some stuff in the notes and I'll see what I can send you.
