The depth and breadth of programs offered by Easterseals cover the lifespan and its milestones, from early intervention and education to employment and independent living to aging at home with dignity. Our child welfare programs in Vermont keep families together through the most challenging times. Our substance use treatment program at Farnum helps individuals recover from some of the darkest. Success stories like Tori’s is why we do what we do. “I was crying with joy,” says Tori, a participant in our Community-Based Services program, after taking home two first-place medals from the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando, FL. “I finally looked up and saw my dad, but I couldn’t find any words, so I held up my pointer finger to say first place. We were both crying happy tears.” Tori has been with the Easterseals NH family for almost 20 years and now lives with an Easterseals care provider. We are so proud of Tori. |
