Tumwater Middle School Theatre will be a new theatre company in the 2021-2022 school year. TMS Theatre is an after-school theatre program that serves any and all interested students who attend Tumwater Middle School. TMS Theatre serves students in grades 6-8.

All students who choose to participate in TMS Theatre will be given the opportunity to participate in up to three full-fledged theatrical productions per year - generally a traditional play, a one act festival, and a musical. Due to Covid-19 concerns, TMS Theatre's premiere year will host two productions. All interested students are able to audition for productions as actors, or participate in the production in a backstage capacity, as set, costume, light, sound, marketing, or run crew members. 

After-school theatre programs have been proven to provide a fun, safe, and creative learning environment for students who are interested in becoming part of a welcoming, all-inclusive community. TMS Theatre is open to all students who wish to participate, regardless of ability, and we strive to break down the financial barriers that often stand in the way of students wanting to participate in other extracurricular activities.
