A good samaritan found not one but two litters of stray kittens along with their mommas (9 kittens and 2 mommas in total) in her neighbourhood in East LA, she has been feeding them and sheltering them in her garage.  However, she  cannot keep the cats/kittens because of allergies, so her options are:

a)  Release the cats and kittens back into the wild.  Not a good option - the kittens will likely get eaten by coyotes or hit by a car from being released too young.  The mothers will get pregnant again which will not be helpful to the pet overpopulation problem!

b) Take them to a shelter, where they will have a 60% chance of euthanasia in LA which means 6 of the cats /kittens will not survive.

c) Find a rescue group to take them.  This is so difficult because cat rescues are so FULL, however MeoowzResQ  (foster based rescue) will take in, vet, and re-home  all the kittens and cats ONLY IF we can raise at least $1,000 in donations.  This is because all of the cats and kittens will require spay/neuter, vaccinations, chip etc.  None of these animals have been seen by a vet, so not to mention any unknown health issues they may have after living on the streets.

Your help is the ONLY way that we can guarantee the survival of all 9 kittens and 2 cats.  These furry babies are counting on us.  If you agree that they don't deserve to die, will you donate to save them?
