Sharon Pope hasn't added a story.
My late son Damone died after complications from attempted brain surgery. Damone was 35 years old. We were making plans for the house, we wanted to upgrade the electrical wiring, of course put in the needed bathroom improvements and last but not least, open a section in the rear so he could have his own private entrance/exit . We were planning to use the property to produce income. Then suddenly out of no were he started getting headaches some of his friends said the car he was driving cut off and he hit his head on dashboard really hard,. I don't know the facts. But the pain of the headaches would make him cry, and then he started losing the ability to see out of one eye. I finally got him to go the emergency day clinic, he did not have health insurance on his job and you have pay a fee for clinic service before your seen. So, I used my bill money. We both thought they would say you need glasses my friend. But after several hours of examinations and testing they admitted him, the next day they performed emergency brain surgery. The surgeon told me that he almost died twice during the surgery and they were not able to remove the massive tumor. The surgeon agreed that a possible cause could have been injury. My son was 6'8" tall and weight over 380 lbs. when he died. So I had to have him cremated the cost of a special order casket and ground vault was beyond me. I still have not been able to put a marker on his site. He is buried with my Grandmother his Great-Grand who died 6 months after Damone and 23 months after her youngest sister , 5 months after my dog Max fell victim to highway car accident. So I put flowers on there graves when I go the burial grounds and clean my ancestors resting places several times during the year. The bathrooms really need to be repaired, the original flooring is particle board that has become compromised over 35 years and really are a safety issue. The drainage connections for the commodes and the tubs need to be repaired and connected to the septic tank in a manner that prevents backup and clogging of sludge. We have protected large oak trees in the yard and over the years the roots have grown into the piping and penetrated the area around the septic tank causing a drainage problem. The commodes can not be turn on they leak so badly and sinks and tubs are plastic composites and the faucets are actually frozen from hard water leakage. Please help if you can
