It all started years ago when my bro David Allen inspired to climb out of my shell and take the leap to performing as an Elvis Tribute Artist. I was extremely overweight and very insecure, but still he and my family and friends still believed in me. I dragged together all of my overtime money, birthday money, side job money ....... Well you get the point I saved up $850 and had my lovely amazing friend Kathy Kittle make me a two piece classy jumpsuit to start doing my shows with. I totally started just wearing whatever I could fit into that had that "Elvis" look. Well the time came when I planned to have gastric bypass surgery which at that point I knew that the suit would no longer fit so I did my last show in it. Like normal I took it off after the show and put it in my car along with my wig and jewelry and went back to enjoy the party. To my surprise and sadness the suit was missing from my car when I got back :( It meant a lot to me because it got me so far and did so much for me in getting my ETA career started. I thought "hey, everything happens for a reason and maybe I not supposed to do this anymore".

To make a long story show I got the surgery lost 185lbs and got the Elvis itch and missed it so much. Wow starting back up in the ETA world, I  thought back to many of my ETA friends that have had awesome fans and friends/family who appreciate their tribute and purchased suits, jewelry, contest entry fees/travel cost........ I was thinking about this one day and placed a post on Facebook about how I had already purchased my own new two piece suit and puffy shirts and some jewelry but that due to current life situations and financial struggles that there seems to be no time in the near future where I could ever afford a new actual jumpsuit, which I think would jumpstart my ETA career. I wasn't really complaining or having a pity party just more or less stating that I plan on doing shows regardless and helping everyone I could with my tribute and that I wasn't giving up. A few friends started liking the post. Then some commenting and then a good friend named Mike Drynan said something along the lines of "start a fundraiser I will throw in some money and help get you started"..... I kinda giggled inside and said I would love that but I don't think it would ever work. BUT then more and more and more friends started commenting saying YES!/ DO IT!/ WE WILL HELP!/ WE BELIEVE IN YOU!....... At the end of that day I read all of the post and cried happy tears inside. A friend told me about this site and how it helped them build the money up to fund a CD project they were putting together and told me to try it out. So here it is people :) I would appreciate anything you choose to give and help fund me along the way to my first Jumpsuit to help me kickstart my all of my ETA career dreams! Either way I will always continue to do free shows for charity and needy senior living homes. I will still always do my part to help my fellow man and surrounding community. Thanks again for any and everything you do be it financial contributions or just encouraging words.
