Fresh produce has a higher nutritional value than any dry or canned food, donate today to ensure those in need get what anyone deserves... Access to fresh fruits and veggies. More ...

There comes a time in many peoples lives where they need to look to their community for help. Especially with today's economy and job market. When it comes to nutrition, there has always been great support from the many food pantries within a community. The problem is nutritional value. Dry and canned goods have a decreased nutritional value over fresh fruits and vegetables. I want to offer these people access to freshly harvested, locally grown fruits and veggies at no cost to them on a weekly basis.

My name is Ian, an entrepreneur with a focus on community. I have been developing indoor farming for many years, and now want to turn my knowledge into a farm for those in need. It's fairly inexpensive to operate an indoor farm on a small scale, but can be costly to startup. I am running this FundRazr to raise money for the equipment. $5,000 is my first goal, which would give me a decent start. The more I can raise the more I can grow. The growing systems will be set on cycles to make weekly harvests year round. The bigger the systems the more food that can be produced weekly.

As the project grows, eventually I will need a larger space to place all the equipment, until then I will be operating out of my home, and covering all operating expenses out of pocket. I just need help getting equipment.

The goal is to expand to a point when a portion of food is always guaranteed to local food pantries, a portion sold at a discount to those who receive government assistance, and a portion sold to all others within the community. Any unsold harvests will be added to the donation of fresh produce given to local food pantries so nothing goes to waste. Profits made will be used to expand to other communities the world over.

With your financial support we can ensure all people have access to fresh local produce.

The end goal is to raise $500,000 in startup capital through donations and capital investments to build the first full indoor farm capable of producing hundreds of pounds of food a month for those who need it most, and hundreds more for everyone else. Visit for more information.
