My sister Shelli was diagnosed with cervical cancer at the young age of 46. So far, chemo had not been shown to be curing it. She's down to her last chemo treatment and then we'll have another scan. PRAYING FOR POSITIVE RESULTS

Shelli was diagnosed with cervical cancer, which we hoped would be cured with a regular hysterectomy, after which she was advised to have a few radiation treatments to ensure complete removal. Shortly after having some radiation, she developed a blood clot in her lung. She was put on blood thinner medication for 6 months. Right around the time she should have been able to be taken off the blood thinners, she went to the ER with pain and a ct scan showed another blood clot in her leg, along with a tumor growing, unattached, but surrounding a major artery. The placement of the tumor did not allow for surgical removal. She underwent 3 of a scheduled 6 chemo treatments and then another ct scan showed that the tumor had grown instead of shrunk. Around this time she also needed to have a blood transfusion. We are now up to her last scheduled chemo treatment, and then another scan. We are hoping the scan shows some shrinkage. If it has shrunk any, more chemo will be scheduled.

Shelli lives a good distance from any medical care she is receiving, and she also does not drive. She has been relying on family members from another town to come get her and take her to treatments and then back home. Her husband has just recently started a new job and still has yet to be fixed to a permanent shift (they change it often with little notice). Please help if you can, every small donation helps tremendously. May God Bless You All
