Walk the Wall 2024 Participation Waiver

Please read the following information carefully. By signing below, you acknowledge your understanding of the information below prior to commencing your participation in Walk the Wall 2024.

1. Please endeavor to take all possible care when participating in International China Concern's Walk the Wall. Before setting out, please make sure that you wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the walk. Please do not over-exert yourself and ensure that you have sufficient liquids on the day to prevent dehydration.
2. You are responsible for keeping your valuables with you at all times.
3. With participation in this event, it is assumed that you and your health practitioner have deemed that you are healthy enough to do so.
4. By signing this waiver, you waive all rights and claims for damages or injuries against International China Concern, and all other partners assisting with the event. This release includes all injuries and/or damages before, during or after the event.
5. In the unlikely event that you need medical treatment during an International China Concern organized walk, you agree to take action for necessary immediate care. You also agree to be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services and treatments including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment and hospitalization.
6. When walking by yourself or in a group, you agree to act in accordance with your local, state/provincial and national recommendations for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. You agree to follow any COVID-19 restrictions, distancing and other safety guidelines issued by the government.
7. By posting photos with our hashtags (#usawtw2024 #walkthewall2024, #walkthewall, #WTW, #americanfriendsoficc #aficc), you consent that International China Concern may use any of the images recorded of you for promotional purposes.
8. You consent to receive from time to time information and updates about International China Concern, and opportunities to engage further. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time.
9. Please sign below to acknowledge you have read and understood our walk information. If you are under the age of 18, your Parent/Guardian's signature is required instead of yours.
